We teamed up with our friends at Self-Service magazine and scouted out our friend and fave jewelry designer from Paris, Ms. Gaia Repossi for a little one-on-one time amidst the chaos of fashion week. We looked through the luggage of Repossi to see how she packs for back-to-back fashion weeks across the globe.  We dug deep into her luggage to see her necessities and non-negotiable goods, which included an assortment of Celine, a palette of prints and a collection of cosmetic essentials. You should be no stranger to Gaia Repossi by now; we’ve only showcased her mini masterpieces in a multitude of closets, including Repossi’s own closet over the past year on TC. As walking G.R. models ourselves who can’t leave home without our signature Berbère rings, we’ve been big fans of her collection since the beginning. She’s collaborated with Alexander Wang and even paid tribute to the 80s with a one-off collection, which marked a moment in fashion history. As a favourite of industry and insiders alike, Repossi is très busy during the fashion showing season, so you can imagine her on-the-go schedule calls for a variety of wearable pieces that transform from day to night. And she’s got a pretty serious beauty bag filled with army of essentials to keep her looking fresh throughout. We showcased her sea of shoes in the only way we know how – drowning in her bathtub – and highlighted her colour-coordinated rack of go-to pieces in an orderly fashion. Repossi’s travel wardrobe reads true to the Parisian chic aesthetic, but like her innovative jewelry line, she continues to surprise us with pops of prints and eye-catching colour. That being said, don’t be fooled by her minimalist staples; there’s plenty of unsuspecting bursts of floral prints waiting to blossom from her suitcase this season.
